A talented group of 16 young swimmers from the City of Norwich Swimming Club are making their final preparations for the end of season national swimming competitions. The British Summer Championships will be held in Glasgow at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre from 23rd to the 28th July. Following on from Glasgow the Swim England National Summer Meet will be held in Sheffield at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre from the 31st July to the 5th August. At the British Summer Championships, City of Norwich will be represented by Charlotte Abramson, Lily MacDonald, Jessica-Jane Applegate, Daisy Hill, Jordan Catchpole, Rikke Nagell-Kleven, Megan Pye, Sacha Thomas, Nathan Woodrow, Jana Spinner, Ruby Greenhalf and Olivier Vedrenne. Additional swimmers competing in Sheffield are Harry Jones, Grace Greenhalf, Owen Woodrow and Ben Blowers.
Head Coach Alex Pinniger said, “City of Norwich swimmers are enjoying a fantastic 2019 season claiming Top Overall Swimming Club at the East Regional Championships and recently winning the Eastern Junior League. Our swimmers have worked hard to make big improvements this year and they are looking forward to finishing the season on a high”
