Jim Hunt, one of City of Norwich Swimming Club's Life Members, passed away this week aged 81. His wife Sue is also a Life Member.
Jim and Sue have supported the Club over the years, Jim in particular being the face of Club Nights at St Augustine's Pool on Tuesday and Friday nights where the Penguins had full use of the pool for personal survival, life guarding, adult swimming, water polo etc etc. Jim was always on the door, keeping things organised.
Jim was also a trained official (timekeeper) for galas. Their sons, Andrew and Jonathan, were swimmers.
If anyone would like to pay their respects, the funeral will take place at St Edmunds Church, Taverham, on Monday 2nd October at 1.00pm.
